Four in the morning, Can't see straight You by the window, Me at the gate I feel your soul shine whenever I roam Well, don't you worry baby, I'm coming home Felt so crazy when I called you today, I got a head full of words and nothing to say And I can't hold you on the telephone, Well don't you worry, I'm coming home Don't you worry baby, I'm coming home Everytime I think I know how I feel The devil taps me on the shoulder, says "boy this is real" It's the Love of a Woman Love of a Woman, Love of a Woman Soon girl you'll be waking, And I will be making Love to you Blind and looking, A place for my head Throw you a smile, you Throw a blanket on my bed Drape your love above these traveling bones, And don't you worry baby, I'm coming home Don't you worry baby , I'm coming home Everytime I think I know how I feel, An angel taps me on the shoulder, says "boy this is real" It's the Love of a Woman, Love of a Woman, Love of a Woman

You're chasin' a fool Neighbor Jane Always the last one to come in from the rain Can't decide between the pleasure and the pain You're chasin' a fool Neighbor Jane Came down a year ago, And you were underground Thought that you were lost and you told you'd been found And we walked your street, Made me think about those days when we had nothing But frozen roads that led away from you.. Chasing fool Neighbor Jane Don't wanna argue, I don't want the blame Everyone we knew down on the beat just bowed their heads in shame Chasin' a fool Neighbor Jane. We can climb that hill in a blink of an eye And above you is a freshly painted sky Playing catch with the breeze, dare we try He might love you, need you... never more that I You can burn that bridge and take my hand And below you is a heavy promised land Looking back on your footprints, where they've led Stony, weary, hanging by a thread So, I'll learn my part again, Just to hold you, hold you in my arms my friend If he takes you, let him take you to me If he breaks you, I'll set you up for free Chasing a fool Neighbor Jane Chasing a fool Neighbor Jane Chasing a fool Neighbor Jane

I remember leaving when you came in Head full of fire, a heart full of sin We went walking in the shadows to find you love Floating down the street , smiling singing echo of the amplifiers ringing Walking in the shadows to find you love We went Walking in the shadows to find you love Fall behind, Call your line Maybe you're walking with someone else, Deep inside I feel like hell Afraid of all the stories my heart tells Well, I'm drinkin' and thinkin' about you now Trying to make sense and I don't know how Walking in the shadows to find you love We went Walking in the shadows to find you love Made our vow, Don't know how Everything solid turned to dust, You lost faith and I lost trust, Tryin' to make 'you and me' out of 'us' So, I'm writing you a letter that I won't send Cliches about how all good things end Walking in the Shadows to find you love Walking in the shadows to find you love Now I'm floatin' down the street, buzzin' , stingin' echo of the amplifiers ringing Walkin' in the shadows to find you love, No more Walking in the shadows to find you love

Let Go 05:11
My tired blue love Close your eyes, will rise above Fallen angel in your faded gown With me sleeping on your garden ground Right by your side Let Go, Let Go Meet me again, My leaving friend Plumy lips upon a saffron face, Send me reeling in your velvet space I'll rise, Soul flies... Let Go, Let Go Your worried brow, Things have changed, we are strangers now All the holes we tried to fill with love Still are empty, it was not enough We tried, Goodbye... Let Go, Let Go

They said, 'Only in your head, you'd be better off out on the highway.' I say, 'I'm better off that way, so alone but I can do it my way.' Woke up to a dream Coming through the mirror, Lay a while and scream, at the alder growing there. You walk my trail at night I see you humming, drumming in the light I sail into the dark and blue, Pick a star and bring it home to you Woke up on a hill, Clouds are in my hair.. Sat right down to 'thrill' at the alder growing there So Long. My old friend, your heart is strong Kneeling on your hillside after midnight See it turning green, Flowers everywhere, Lay ahwile and dream with the alder growing there

Sarafina 04:22
Plead my case to everyone, Hop a train into the morning sun, Then we're on the run Don't know why I spend my day Losing games that other people play. Time to get away Oh , Oh, what do you know The devil's fooling with my plans. From Ohio to Colorado, Sarafina sits there clapping hands Two singers in a lover's choir haven't got the strength to take it higher. We have to face the fire. Bleeding heart, take your stand, Ride a guitar into never, never land, Wake up in the sand. From Tokyo, to the Canyon of Sorrow Making castles in the sand. There you go, telling the river how to flow While Sarafina sits there clapping hands Lonely ride, cold machine, Leave eachother waiting by our dreams. We part at the scene One more thing before I go, Tell me things you think that I should know. There's diamonds on the road What do you know, I'm with my favorite traveling show Friends and brothers in my band "Boys, you better know... sometimes she won't show" While Sarafina sits there clapping hands Sarafina sits there clapping hands

Two Far Gone 02:39
Woke up to a hail storm, Thunder in my head. While visions of the weak and weary dancing in my bed. There's a storm up in the mountain, I can hear the thunder pound. Nothing growing in my garden, Monday morning coming down. I look into your eyes before I drift away, Try to listen in on one last song. My eyes are heavy and I feel so far away, And I wonder If i'm two far gone. All the leaves are scattered, Clouds go rolling by, Midwest memories fill my plate and twinkle in your eye. A crowd of figures walk by and know upon my door, Their voices, filled with sunshine but I can't hear them anymore. Little creatures run by, scatter through the wood And the rain falls like birds upon my lawn. I would try to help them find their way back if I could, And I wonder If I'm two far gone Little creatures run by, scatter through the wood And the rain falls like birds upon my lawn. I would try to help them find their way back if I could, And I wonder If I'm two far gone Well, I wonder if we're two far gone

I'm walkin' down your highway It won't end I'm walkin' down your highway, It won't end I'm walkin' down your highway, Coming from around the bend. I came up on the Grayline, yesterday. I came up on the Grayline, yesterday. I came up on the Grayline, They let me off on your highway She said she would meet me, at your place. She said she would meet me, at your place. She said that she would meet me, Tell me have you seen her face? I think I believe you, That's a lie. I think I believe you, That's a lie. I'm walkin' down your highway, Please just let me walk on by.

In the evening when you wake up next to me, You got a pain in your heart that just won't let you be. I was gonna wake up in the morning, do things right, Turn your darkness into light but I .. I couldn't reach you I couldn't reach you I couldn't reach you So, we're rising to face another day, Tell me you can not go on this way. Well, I ain't got money but I got time. I've got more love than the Sun got shine but i.. I Couldn't reach you Who was on your line? I couldn't reach you We both will rise We both will rise we both will rise When I finally get my head on straight, You've been broken and you tell me "it's too late." I ain't got style but I got soul, Got more light than the moon got glow but I... I couldn't reach you Who was on your line? I couldn't reach you

When the night is floating away, I walk the line, go astray And I'm feeling like I'm in too deep And I'm felling like I ought to sleep My waitress friend, she did me wrong. Played my head, chained my song. When she tells me that the cards are stacked, I'll remind her that my bags are packed Seasons pass, memories fade. Greener grass, cooler shade. When this runnin' finally turns into flight, A new love greets me in the morning light, And we did it right Did it right, Did it right..

I had a dream that we were sailing on the sea And everyone we knew was sailing by our side We made it down to where the ocean meets the trees. and through the equatorial and tropic tides. We sailed around until we found the southern pole and made it back to where another journey starts. I circumnavigate the oceans of your soul. You batten down the hatches of your heart. Cruel seas pass me by Sorrow and pain has all come and gone Hold me here awhile and follow your dreamin' head I woke up in a bath and all my clothes were on. It was a long and sunny golden afternoon. It must have been the day we made it by the pond. It must have been the 22nd day of June I walk into the sunlight falling on your yard. and find a place where I can sit and scratch my head. I try to hold on to the memory but it's hard. I close my eyes and off to dream again. June leaves, then July. August rain has all come and gone. Pull these dandelions and follow your dreamin' head. I fall into your arms and look up to the stars. I find a new moonflower growing on my fence. There was a rhythm in the passing of the cars. Or was it just a strange coincidence? I listened to the "Sweethearts of the Rodeo." I listened to the distant, holy thundercrack. I tried to run but I could find no place to go and when I hit the road, it hit me back. Moonbeams, satelites, solar parades all summer long Hold these candlelights and follow your dreamin' head. Cruel seas pass me by. Sorrow and pain has all come and gone. Hold these dandelions and follow your dreamin' head.
